The Punjab government has officially started Phase 2 of the Chief Minister’s Laptop Distribution Scheme, expanding the initiative to Lahore and other districts across the province.
According to official details, 60,000 students will receive laptops during the second phase under a structured distribution schedule. This announcement comes while Phase 1 of the scheme is still underway in several districts.

Phase 1 and Phase 2 Overview
Sources confirmed that the original target under Phase 1 was to distribute 100,000 laptops to eligible students. That process continues, with authorities managing both phases simultaneously to speed up delivery and maximize outreach.
With the addition of Phase 2, the total number of laptops to be distributed under the program has reached 160,000 units.
Registration Process
Students can continue submitting applications through the official portal managed by the Punjab Higher Education Department. The registration system remains open for eligible candidates.
Officials have advised students to ensure that their academic and personal information is correctly submitted to avoid delays in verification.
