The Sindh Education Department has approved the schedule for upcoming board examinations and the new academic session across Karachi and the rest of the province.
The decisions were finalized during a Steering Committee meeting chaired by Sindh Education Minister Sardar Ali Shah.
📚 Matric and Intermediate Exam Dates
Under the approved plan:

Matric (Classes IX & X) annual exams will begin on March 31, after Eid.

Intermediate exams will start on April 15.
Students across Sindh are advised to begin preparations in line with the confirmed schedule.
🗓 New Academic Session 2026–27
The committee decided that the 2026–27 academic session will commence on April 1.

📖 Uniform Examination Syllabus Delayed
The implementation of the Uniform Examination Syllabus has been postponed. The revised syllabus will now apply to Classes IX and X starting from the 2027 annual examinations.
☀ Summer and Winter Vacations Confirmed
The existing holiday schedule remains unchanged:

Officials noted that any changes to winter holidays would require another meeting in April.
